HELICOFLEX resilient metal seal
 The Helicoflex seal was developed in close co-operation with the french nuclear enargy board and has been subjected to long and intensive trials. It is a flexible O-ring made of metal which is highly resilient.  Characteristics of the HELICOFLEX seal are almost comparable to rubber seal whereby the typical properties of the metal seal are maintained. HELICOFLEX seals are preferably employed in the case of static axial sealing in connection with flanged joints.
Oil Seal
Seals in the thermo-elastic high performance PS-SEAL series operate with a sealing lip made from modified PTFE. This material is produced using a method specially developed by Garlock and marketed under the brand name GYLON. Sealing lips made from GYLON have a perticularly effective memory characteristic, are highly elastic and flexible, cause very low friction, thanks to their non-stick-slip motion, suffer little wear and tear, and need no metallic spring element.

VALVES - Sterile seal

Construction
The media in the inner chember is protected against contamination by the surrounding blocking chambers. These chambers are directly connected to the inner sealing system and a second outer sealing system seperates them from the atmosphere.

STERILE-SEAL valves are completely free of gaps and cavities to prevent any built-up of nutrient.
